Clearing Cache, Cookies, and History

Clearing cache, cookies, and history can improve your device's application performance. When using a browser like Chrome, website data is stored in its cache and cookies. Removing these can resolve certain issues, such as loading problems and login errors. If you encounter any problems, this is a good first step. Follow the instructions for your specific browser, then close and reopen it before continuing.

A.  Google Chrome
Have your browser open

1. In the top-right part of the screen, there are three lines or dots by the star. Click it. 

2. Go down to More Tools.

3. Click Clear Browsing Data

4. Check Browsing History, Cookies, and other site and plugin data, Cached images, and files.

5. Click Clear Data

 

 

B. Mozilla Firefox

Have your browser open

1. In the top-right part of the screen, there are three horizontal lines, click there.

2. Locate and click on the Clock that says History.

3. Click Clear Recent History.

4. Uncheck Active Logins.

5. Check Browsing & Download History, Cookies & Cache. 

6. Click Clear Now.

 

 

C. Microsoft Edge

Have your browser open. 

1. Click the Settings and more button. In the top right-hand corner of your Edge browser's window, you will see a small button with 3 dots in it. 

2. Select the Settings near the bottom of the window. 

3. Click Privacy and services. This should be the second one down on the menu. 

4. Go to the Clear browsing data section. 

5. Select the blue button Choose what to clear on the right-hand side. 

6. Choose a time range. Choose the next higher time from when you started experiencing these issues.  

7. Select the browsing data that you would like to clear.  

8. Click the Clear Now button.

 

 

D. Safari

Have the browser open. 

1. Click the Safari menu in the top left corner of the browser. 

2. Click Settings. 

3. Click Privacy. 

4. Click the Manage Website Data button. 

5. Click Remove all to remove any cached data and cookies. 

6. Click Remove Now in the new dialogue box. 

7. Wait a few moments, then click Done. 

8. Close the dialogue box remaining. 

9. Press Command +Q to quit Safari. 

 

 

 

E. Internet Explorer

Have your browser open

1. In the top-right part of the screen, there is a "Gear Icon" by the star; click it.

2. Go down to Safety.

3. Click Delete Browsing History.

4. Uncheck Preserve Favorites website data & History

5. Check Temporary Internet files and website files, Cookies & website data.

6. Click Delete.

Note: Internet Explorer is not a recommended browser to use. We would suggest any of the above 3.
