AccredAssist is software offered by Platinum Educational Group that assists its users with creating reports for their accrediting bodies. One of its features is automatically reminding you to send surveys to students six months after the actual end date of their course or on a designated date set by the admin.

A. Enabling Surveys and Setting an Alternative Survey Reminder Date
After enabling surveys, you will automatically receive a reminder to send them to students based on the settings enabled. If no additional settings are enabled, the reminder will appear 6 months after the Course Close Date. If an Actual Course End date is set, the reminder will appear 6 months after that day. If a Survey Send-by Date is set, the reminder will appear on that day.
a. Enabling Surveys in the School Settings (allowing them to be used in courses)
1. From your main My.Platinumed dashboard, click the drop-down carrot next to the Add Credit button and select the Edit School option.
Note: This can only be done by an Admin.
2. Click the AccredAssist tab.
3. Check the Enable post-graduate surveys box.
4. (Optional) Enter the # of months after the cohort ends to send post-graduate surveys and a Custom post-graduate survey message if desired.
5. Click Update School.
b. Enabling Surveys in the Course and Setting an Alternative Survey Reminder Date:
1. Edit your course. You can do this through your admin role or from the dashboard. Below is from the dashboard.
- Click the Manage Courses tile on the dashboard, then click edit for the course.
2. The course will default to the Course Info tab. Check the box for Post-graduate surveys allowed below the course name. This will enable the surveys to be sent.
3. Set a Survey Send-by Date if you prefer the surveys to go out on a particular date. (see above for an explanation).
4. Save.
B. Manage Surveys (sending surveys)
Manage Surveys is where a program director can manage everything related to sending surveys. This is where the survey that will go out can be previewed, updated, and sent.
Note: Only program directors will have these abilities.
Opening Manage Surveys: Click the Manage Surveys tile on the main My.Platinumed dashboard.
- a. Preview: Click this button to view the survey that is going out.
- b. Update: If you want to enable surveys for a course, check the Send and track post-graduate surveys for this course. Add or adjust the Send-by Date if needed. Click Save when finished.
- c. Send: Click the Send button under the Actions column to send out surveys for a course. Click Ok if you have selected the correct course.
C. Resending a Survey
After surveys have been sent out, if you have not received a response, it is possible to resend the survey to the student.
1. Edit your course. You can do this through your admin role or from the dashboard. Below is through the dashboard.
- Click the Manage Courses tile on the dashboard, then click edit for the course.
2. Click the Surveys tab.
3. Click resend for any survey you have not received results for and would like to resend.
4. Click Ok.
D. Viewing Surveys Results
1. Edit your course. This can be done through your admin role or from the dashboard. Below is from the dashboard.
- Click the Manage Courses tile on the dashboard, then click edit for the course.
2. Click the Surveys tab.
3. Click view results to view the responses for individuals.
5. Scroll down to Summary to see the cumulative results. Use the toggle to filter results.
E. Survey Questions
The same questions are sent to both the student and employer.
Demographic Info:
- # Months Since Graduation
- # Attempts to Pass State/National Examination
- If the student is currently employed as a paramedic.
- If the student is either continuing education or in the military.
Cognitive:
- Do you meet the competencies of an entry-level Paramedic in the COGNITIVE (knowledge) domain?
- N/A
- Successful/Competent: No prompting
- Marginal: Inconsistent, but not yet competent
- Unsuccessful: Required excessive or critical prompting.
- Which areas are deficient or need improvement?:
- Box for the user to enter areas that need improvement.
- Other comments.
Psychomotor:
- Do you meet the competencies of an entry-level Paramedic in the PSYCHOMOTOR (skills) domain?
- N/A
- Successful/Competent: No prompting
- Marginal: Inconsistent, but not yet competent
- Unsuccessful: Required excessive or critical prompting.
- Which areas are deficient or need improvement?:
- Box for the user to enter areas that need improvement.
- Other comments.
Affective:
- Do you meet the competencies of an entry-level Paramedic in the AFFECTIVE (behavior) domain?
- N/A
- Successful/Competent: No prompting
- Marginal: Inconsistent, but not yet competent
- Unsuccessful: Required excessive or critical prompting.
- Which areas are deficient or need improvement?:
- Box for the user to enter areas that need improvement.
