Platinum allows integration with Verify Students for background checks during the cohort enrollment phase. The school can add the Verify Students Promo code to their cohort, which will add a link to their school's profile on Verify Students to the student dashboard. Students will still need to create their own accounts on the Verify Students website, as Verify Students is a separate company from Platinum Educational Group, but this integration can make the enrollment period a little easier for students.
Enabling Background Check integration:
1. Edit your cohort. This can be done from the dashboard or through your Admin role. Below is from the Dashboard.
- Click the grey and black Manage Cohorts tile on the main dashboard.
- Click Edit for the desired cohort.
2. You will be defaulted to the Cohort Info tab of the cohort settings. At the bottom left, there is a checkbox: Enable student verification through Verifystudents.com. Check that, and the box for the promo code will appear.
3. Enter your promo code if you have it.
4. Save
Note: Platinum does not require background checks to use our products. This integration is only intended to simplify enrollment for schools that use Verify Students.
