When our users are on their my.platinumed.com dashboards, part of the information displayed includes the roles they have access to in the available programs, based on their Profession setting. So, if you are missing the section for your EMSTesting roles, it may be due to your Profession setting.
Your current Profession setting appears next to your name in the upper-right corner of the screen. Below is the dashboard for a student whose profession is set to Medical Assistant. Because there is no Medical Assistant component in EMSTesting or Platinum Tests at this time, the student does not see a section for EMSTesting.
Updating Profession Settings:
1. On the main dashboard, click my account in the upper-right corner of the page. This will take you to your Account Information page.
2. Click update my account information.
3. Click on the downward arrow in the Profession field. This will cause the drop-down to appear, from which you can select the correct profession.
4. Click Update Account when finished updating.
Once you return to your dashboard, you may need to refresh your browser.
After this update is complete, if you have access to roles on the previously hidden site, you should see the correct profession next to your name.
