Student- Available Labs
The Student - Find New Labs page lets students search for and view upcoming lab sessions connected to their lab class(es) available for sign-up. It also displays pending lab session requests waiting for instructor approval.
To locate this feature, go into your student role for Platinum Planner, then select Available Labs from the Labs tab in the red toolbar.

A. Signing Up for Lab Sessions:
1. Start by choosing the lab class from the Show Labs for Class dropdown. Use the search tools if you are looking for a specific date or session(s).
2. Click Sign-Up for the lab session you would like to attend.
3. Review the lab session details, then confirm your registration by clicking the blue Sign Up button.
If your instructor has the lab sessions set to auto-accept, then the lab will automatically appear in your 'My Labs' Upcoming tab.
If your instructor requires lab requests to be reviewed, once your instructor approves your request, you will see the lab on the 'Upcoming' tab of the 'My Labs' page. This option also lets students add a message to their request if they want.
B. Student- Find New Labs Page Details:
The Student-Find New Labs page allows students to sign up for labs created by instructors in their lab class and view pending labs requests.
Show Labs For Class: This dropdown displays all the active lab classes you have been added to. Select one to view the labs available for that class.
- Note: Many students will only have 1 class to choose from.
Show Labs For Date: This option lets you select a specific date to view the labs available on that day.
Find New Labs Search: You can search for labs by entering the lab title or location and clicking Search.
Configure Grid Options: (Sun-shaped button next to Search) This button allows you to control the columns in the grid below.

Export: (Raincloud button next to Search) Click to select the document type you would like to export the grid below into: PDF, XLS, XLSX, RTF, or CSV.
Tabs:
- Available: Lab sessions that can be signed up for.

Pending: Lab sessions you have requested to attend, but have not been approved by an instructor yet.
Actions:
Sign-Up (Available tab): Displays the lab's details and lets you sign up for the lab.
Details (Pending tab): This shows the lab session details for the lab you have requested to attend. Click Cancel Request at the bottom corner to cancel your request to join the lab.
