Preceptor- Training
The Training tab allows you to complete preceptor training. The school may create custom training or utilize Platinum Educational Group's default global training.
Note: Not all schools or professions require you to complete online training. If you are unsure, please contact your school.
To locate this feature, click the Training tab in the red toolbar.

A. Training Information:
When you first log in as a preceptor, you may see a note on your account indicating that you have not completed training. This does not necessarily mean you must complete online training, as not all schools or professions require it.
The directions below correspond to the flow of Platinum Educational Group's global training provided for EMS schools. Schools have the option to create their own custom training, so your training view may differ.
Preceptor training can be completed in one session, or you can begin and return to finish the training at your convenience.
B. Completing Training:
1. Begin by clicking Start Training.
2. Click the link to watch each Training Video, then click the circle next to it to mark the video as completed. The progress bar above will advance as you complete each section.
3. Click the link for the Training Test and complete it using the information learned from the videos. Once finished, click Submit at the bottom.
4. Click the link for the Confirmation of the Preceptor Orientation and Training. Answer the questions and click Submit at the bottom.
5. Attach any documents you need to provide to the school. You can either drag and drop the documents into the green box or click the green box to upload them from your device.
6. When you have completed all training steps, you will see green checks for every required field. Click Submit at the bottom of the page to send your training for review by the school.
