Instructor- Manage My Students
Manage My Students allows you to Login As a student, view Details about their account, adjust their Categories, control their Access, and Flag their student role.
Note: Options and displays mentioned in this article will differ for users depending on their profession, class associations, and permissions assigned to their instructor role within Platinum Planner.
To locate this feature, click the Classes/Students tab in the red toolbar and select Manage My Students.
Student Data Table
The Manage My Students page displays the students associated with your school. This page defaults to the Active tab.
Student Search: You can search for students by entering their first name, last name, or email address and clicking Search.
Configure Grid Options: (Sun-shaped button next to Search) This button allows you to control the columns in the grid below.

Export: (Raincloud button next to Search) Click to select the document type you would like to export the grid below into: PDF, XLS, XLSX, RTF, or CSV.
Include demo student accounts: Check this box if you would like to include instructor demo student accounts in the student listing.
Tabs:
- Active: Active students associated with the school.
- Flagged: Any user who has been flagged from their student role, removing their access to it.
- Alumni: Students whose cohorts have closed or have been marked as Complete for their cohort.
- All: Displays students associated with the school. (Active, Alumni, and Flagged)
Actions:
Details: This shows the student's account information, the cohort they are in, and allows you to mark the student Complete and their Progress. The only required fields for student info are email, name, and phone number.
Categories: This feature allows you to control what clinical categories your students have access to. Green is active, and grey is inactive.
Note: The Utilize Manage Student Categories setting must be enabled for the student's cohort to use this feature.
Login As: This allows you to assume the student's identity.
Flag: This removes the student's access to their student role.
Unflag: This replaces the student's access to their student role for flagged users.
