The Instructor Homepage is the default page you'll see when you select your school instructor role from the main dashboard. This page provides Items which may require your attention, Current Schedule, help information on Getting Started with a new school, Help Videos, Messages and Reminders and Additional Information.
Note: Options and displays mentioned in this article will differ for users depending on their profession, class associations, and permissions assigned to their instructor role within Platinum Planner.
You can locate the Instructor Homepage by clicking the dropdown with the school's name at the bottom of the main dashboard and selecting the user role of Instructor.

This section highlights items that you may need to review. Click an item to review it within your instructor role.
B. Current Schedule:
This section shows the schedules that have been added to your classes.
C. Messages and Reminders:
This section shows your most recent messages sent to you by other users or triggers that push messages to you when they occur. Click on the message to view it. Click More to view the messages and reminders under Manage Messages.
D. Getting Started:
This section provides a link to our schedule training page. We recommend attending training sessions, which can be repeated or refreshed at any time if needed.
E. Help Videos:
This section contains our videos, organized by areas and linked to our Vimeo page. Each video guides you through using that feature.
F. Additional Information:
This contains a link to our Student Sign-up Template. This template has directions for students on how to create their student accounts and enroll in your cohort. You can download the template and add the information specific to your school and cohort.
