School Administrator- Manage Age Groups
Manage Age Groups allows you to create custom age groups that can be used instead of the age groups set by Platinum.
To locate this feature, click the Options tab in the red toolbar and select Manage Age Groups.

A. Adding New Age Groups:
1. Begin by clicking the +Add A New Age Group button on the upper right of the page to add a new age group.
2. Add a Title, select if you want to Copy from an existing global or school age group, and add a Status.
- Title: What the age group will appear as when you go to select it in the cohort.
- Note: Duplicate names are not permitted to help avoid confusion when selecting the setting for the cohort.
- Copy from an existing global or school age group: Instead of starting fresh, you can copy an existing age group as a baseline and make changes to it.
- Status: Enabled allows the age group to be selected. Disabled keeps it from being used. (This can be updated at any point).
3. Click Create Age Group.
4. This is where you will add the different age groups or edit them if you copied an existing age group. If you are starting fresh, see 4a. If you are editing an age group from a copy, go to 4b.
4a. Click +Add new Age Group to add a new age group

Settings: This will cause the Age information window to pop up. Enter the information for the age group.
- Note: Make sure the age groups do not overlap. This is down to the hour.
- Skills: This allows you to associate skills with this age group. Students' documentation will only populate with these skills if the correct age group is entered. Select the Type and Program to locate the skill, then click Add to add the skill to this age group.

- Click Save and repeat the process until you have completed the entirety of the age groups.
4b. From here, you can Edit or Delete the different age groups. You can also add a new age group to replace something you deleted (See 4a for directions on adding new age groups).
Note: Make sure the age groups do not overlap. This is down to the hour.
5. Save when finished. You can Save and Refresh to save and continue to work on the same page or Save and Exit to leave this page.
B. Age Group Data Table
The Age Groups page displays the age groups associated with your school. This page defaults to the Active tab.
Search: You can search for age groups by entering the name and clicking Search.
Configure Grid Options: (Sun-shaped button next to Search) This button allows you to control the columns in the grid below.

Export: (Raincloud button next to Search) Click to select the document type you would like to export the grid below into: PDF, XLS, XLSX, RTF, or CSV.
Tabs:
- Active: Active age groups created by the school.
- Inactive: Disabled age groups created by the school.
- Global: Platinum-created age groups.
- All: All age groups (Active, Inactive, and Global).
Actions:
Edit: This allows you to view the age group settings and make changes.
Clone: This takes you to creating a new age group but defaults the copy dropdown to the selected age group.
