School Administrator- Manage Training
Manage Training allows you to create your own custom preceptor training or view Platinum's global training and previous custom trainings.
Note: Platinum's global preceptor training is only available for EMS schools.
To locate this feature, click the Options tab in the red toolbar and select Manage Training.

C. Preceptor Training Materials (EMS Only)
A. Adding a Custom Training:
1. Begin by clicking the + Add New Training button on the upper right of the page to add a new custom training. Alternatively, if you prefer not to start from a clean slate and instead make adjustments to an existing training, click the Clone button in the Manage Training data table.
Note: The following steps (2-4) can be done one after the other or simultaneously as you set your layout.
2. Next, set the training's Layout. Click Add Section to add as many sections as you need.
3. Click the Settings button to give each section a Title.
4. Click the dropdown carrot to add content to each section. Click the content type to populate it in the section.
Content:

Content: A small section that can be typed into.

Resource: This allows you to link any URL you want to add. This can be any video or webpage.

Document: Drag and drop your file or click to add a file from your device.

Form: This allows you to connect a custom training form. Click the Required checkbox if you would like the form to be required before the training can be submitted.
- Note: If the custom form you want is not populating, check the settings of this custom training and/or the custom form to ensure the profession is set to the correct/same one.

5. Save the training at the bottom. (This step is not required but suggested)
- Save and Refresh: Click Save and Refresh to save the training and proceed to the next steps: enabling and adding the Settings.
- Save: Click Save to return to the Manage Training page and return to completing this training later.
6. Go to the top of the page and click the Settings tab. From there, add all the settings to the training.
Title: The name you would like the Training to appear with.
Program Type: Select a specific program type for which this training is being used.
Description: (Optional) Any information about the training you want to note. This is only for internal use and cannot be seen by the person filling out the training.
7. If you are ready to activate the training, enable the training by changing the toggle at the top right of the screen from Disabled (default) to Enabled.
8. Save the training at the bottom.
- Save and Refresh: Click Save and Refresh to save the training and continue making additional changes.
- Save: Click Save to return to the Manage Training page.
B. Manage Training Data Table:
You can access all trainings on the Manage Training page, which defaults to the Active tab. Within the data table, you can view your school's custom training and Platinum's Global training.
Search: You can search for training by entering the title or description and clicking Search.
Configure Grid Options: (Sun-shaped button next to Search) This lets you control the columns in the grid below.

Export: (Raincloud button next to Search) Click to select the document type you would like to export the grid below into: PDF, XLS, XLSX, RTF, or CSV.
Program: This will default to All Programs. Change the dropdown to view a specific program type.
Tabs:
- Active: Custom training created by the school that has been enabled.
- Inactive: Custom training created by the school that is disabled (not enabled).
- Global: Training created by Platinum Educational Group.
- All: All the tabs combined (Active, Inactive, and Global).
Actions:
View: This allows you to view the training as it appears for other users when they complete it.
Edit: This lets you view or change the layout and training settings.
- Note: This feature will not be available for Global training. To change a global training, you must clone it and make the desired changes as a custom training.
Clone: Select clone to create a copy of the training. The clone can be left as a copy or edited to create an entirely different training.
C. Preceptor Training Materials (EMS only):
This section allows you to view the different parts of Platinum's Global training. Click the red hyperlinks to view each option.
Note: While Platinum's Preceptor training offers mentorship, coaching, and affirmation of receiving Preceptor training and orientation, it is the program's responsibility to provide program-specific training and orientation materials to all clinical liaisons and Preceptors. Programs are strongly encouraged to customize the Preceptor training to include program-specific orientation and training.
