Student- View My Classes
View My Classes allows you to view details for the classes you have been added to in Platinum Planner.
To locate this feature, click the Classes tab in the red toolbar and select My Classes.
Contents:
A. Accessing Class Details:
1. Begin on the Student- View My Classes page by clicking the Classes tab in the red toolbar, then select My Classes.
2. In the View My Classes data table, select Detail under the Actions column for the class you want to view more info on.
B. Class Details:
The class details page shows you the basic info for your class, the skills, the instructors, and the documents added to the class.
Basic Class Info:
At the top of the page, you will see the Cohort, Starts, Ends, and class Type.
- Cohort: The name given to your cohort.
- Starts: The day your class begins.
- Ends: The day set for your class to end.
- Type: The class type selected for your class.

Schedule: The schedule added to this class with the day, start/end times, and location.
- Note: Not all classes or class types have schedules. This section of the class details may not show.
Skills:
The skill tab displays all the skills added to this class. Any event related to the class can only record skills from this list.
- Skill: This column lists the skills by name. Information related to the skill is to the left of the skill name.
- Document: If a document is attached to this skill, it will be available for download. Click download to view and download the document.
- Form: If a form is connected to a skill, it can be reviewed by clicking view. Print is available at the bottom of the form page if desired.
- Peer Min: For lab skills only, the skill requirement set by the school specifies the minimum number of times the skill should be documented and reviewed by a peer.
- Instructor Min: The skill requirement set by the school specifies the minimum number of times the skill must be documented and reviewed by an instructor.
- Total Min: The total number of times a skill needs to be documented.
- Sims Value: For clinical skills, the ratio is that the skill must be documented in a simulated setting to count the same as a skill documented in a typical clinical setting.
Click the red skill name to view more details about the skill and its requirements. This will show you the requirements for the skill and whether you have any pending or reviewed points.
Click View Prerequisite Details or View Skill Details to view more information.
- Prerequisite Skills: These are any skills required to be able to document this skill.
- Skill Attempt Details: These are when you have documented the skill in an event.
Note: The information shown will vary by profession, class type, and the settings given to a skill.
Instructors:
This tab shows you all the instructors added to the class.
Documents:
This tab shows any documents added to the class. Click the red Download button to download the document.
C. View My Classes Data Table:
On the View My Classes page, you will see all the classes you have been added to as a student.
Class Search: You can search for classes by entering the class or cohort name and clicking Search.
Configure Grid Options: (Sun-shaped button next to Search) This button allows you to control the columns in the grid below.

Export: (Raincloud button next to Search) Click to select the document type you would like to export the grid below into: PDF, XLS, XLSX, RTF, or CSV.
Actions:
Details: This displays information about your class, including skills, instructors, and added documents.
