Unresolved Conflicts

Conflicts can arise in lab and opportunity documentation when there are discrepancies between what is saved or submitted on the app and what is stored on the server. In such cases, the student may need to resolve these conflicts.

The directions below explain how students can resolve their conflicts; however, an instructor can also edit the documentation in their account to fix the issues.

Resolving Conflicts:

1. Select your student role for Platinum Planner.

2. Navigate to your conflicted lab or opportunity. This can be done in two ways.

  • Click the link to resolve the conflicts on your Student Home Page. 3_3_opps_to_reconcile.png
  • Alternatively, in the red toolbar, click the Labs, then select the My Labs option or Opportunities, then choose the My Opportunities option, depending on the event type. Then, select the Conflicted tab.

3.  Click Reconcile Documentation under the Actions Column. 11:24 4-un.png

Note: If conflicts arise with already submitted documentation, you must request the documentation be returned to you so you can correct the discrepancies.

4. For opportunity documentation, you will see a red exclamation point '!' next to sections that have conflicts.

5. When reviewing the conflicts, choose the correct option for what happened during your event.

Note: If the conflict is not an issue for your documentation, select Ignore Conflicts.

6. Click the blue Reconcile Conflicts button when finished.

7. You can then submit your documentation once you're satisfied with its completion.
