When Preceptor accounts are created in the program, either an Instructor or a School Administrator must verify the account before the Student's documentation for opportunities involving those individuals can be approved. This step ensures that students (if they have the ability to add their own Preceptors) create accounts for the Preceptors they will be working with.
However, when School Administrators and Instructors create Preceptor accounts in Platinum Planner, we understand that these users will likely know whether the accounts they make are for real preceptors.
Therefore, when creating a Preceptor account, if you enter their information and select "Create," you will still need to verify the account later. If you choose "Create & Verify," the process is completed in one step.
