Every linear exam will have test results that break down how your students performed on an exam. From the results page, you can view their results, review data breakdowns for the entire class, and alter the properties of the test results.

A. Reviewing the Test Results:
1. Through your Instructor role, click the dropdown for the class and select the View Grade book icon.
2. Click the title of the exam you would like to view the class results for.
Note: If you do not see the exam you are looking for, check your Class Segment in the middle of the top of the page.

Many of the options below will have links attached to their names to see more articles that break down that area even further or explain their functionality.
Class Summative Results:
Cut-Score Average: the average cut score of all the students combined.
Raw-Score Average: the average raw score of all the students combined.
KR20/Cronbach's a: this should range from 0 to 1.00, although it is mathematically possible to see a negative value reported. Values that are above .70 are in the acceptable range, while too high a value (above .90) indicates a homogeneous test. If there are an abundance of select all that apply questions, it is possible to see two values listed.
Confidence Score: Students have the option when answering a question to mark how confident they feel they have selected the correct answer. 1 being the lowest option and 5 being the highest.
Individual Student Results:
Here you will find each student's results. From here you can View Student Results or check the box next to the student(s) and click one of the 4 red buttons below for more options.
Student's Name
Cut Score: the cut score the student earned.
Raw Score: the raw score the student earned.
Raw Points: the number of questions the student got correct out of the total.
Retakes: the number of retakes that have been assigned to a student. Clicking the number will allow you to toggle which grade is show as the result.
Resumes: the number of times the student resumed the exam.
View Student Results:
- Before the Student has completed the Exam:
- The student's progress will show. Once the student has completed the exam or they have reached a limit, their full results will show.
- Level 1:
- The score earned and minimum passing score.
- Exam Completed in: the amount of time a student spent taking the exam.
- Allowed time: the amount of time allotted by the instructor for the exam.

- Start/End Time
- Reading Level Statistics: this number compares and takes the average of the questions asked; the number shown indicates the k-12 reading level of the incorrectly and correctly answered questions.
- Bloom Levels Statistics: for every level within the exam the number of questions asked will be indicated and the percentage of those questions answered correctly.
- Cut Score Statistics: for each cut score, the number of questions asked in that area and the percentage of those questions answered correctly.

- Curriculum Breakdown: the number of questions asked in each curriculum area and the percentage of those questions answered correctly.

- Questions and Answers
- Green check: indicates a correct answer.
- Red caution symbol: indicates an incorrect answer was given for a question. You can click the question to see the question's answers and the annotation.
- Questions and Answers
Re-grade Tests: This button will regrade the selected student(s) tests. This is primarily used when the test is closed early or when the grade book settings have been modified.
Retake Tests: This button will allow the selected student(s) to retake the test. The existing test(s) will be archived for future reference.
- Note: the archive does not include the student's scores, only their answers. The grade will have to be manually calculated if the score is not recorded before the retake is assigned.
Toggle Grade Visibility: This button will toggle the inclusion of the selected student(s) grade from the test. This is functionally the same as the show/hide feature in the grade book.
Export Answers: This button will export the selected student(s) answers into an Excel spreadsheet.
Class Detailed Results:
Here you can find a detailed breakdown of the results for each question in the exam for your entire class.
Question number: Number of the question on the exam.
Curriculum: Curriculum the question is from.
Answers: The correct answer is highlighted green, then you can see how many students answer both the correct answer and the distractors.
Review: How many students requested to review this question in class.
Pval: This column will display the percentage of students who answered the item correctly.
Difficulty: a question with a difficulty of 0.0 would be one that no one ever misses and a difficulty of 0.96 would be an item that hardly anyone ever gets correct.
Discrimination: Discrimination looks at how the top and bottom performers did on an item. The expectation is that the top performers will do well on any single item whereas the bottom performers will not. The value range is –1.0 to 1.0. Positive Discrimination = Bottom missing item more than Top. Negative Discrimination = Top missing item more than Bottom. Perfect Discrimination = 1.0.
Point-Biserial: a process of looking at the students with the highest scores on the test and the students with the lowest scores on the test and comparing them against each other for a particular question.
Exclude Questions: Check the box next to the question or questions you would like to exclude from the results then click this button. The program will then recalculate your students' scores as if that item had not appeared on the test.
Export Class Results: Click this button to export the detailed class results to an Excel file.
