(Instructor) Adaptive Testing Limit

To Students: If you were previously able to take adaptive exams and no longer can, you might have reached the limit to the number of adaptive exams your instructor allows.  You can tell by going to the Adaptive Test For Class page and there is not a New Adaptive Test button this means you have reached your test limit. Your best course of action is to let your instructor know. They would be able to edit this setting if they would like to allow you to continue to take adaptive tests.

Note: If your course and class are no longer active, you will not be able to take adaptive exams.

Instructors: If your students no longer have the New Adaptive Test button, because they have met their test limit you can easily increase that limit if you would like to do so.

Changing the Limit of the Adaptive Exams:

1.  Begin in your Instructor role for EMSTesting.

2.  Click the dropdown for the class, then select the Edit Class icon.

3.  Click the Adaptive tab.

4.  Under Test Limit* adjust the number set.  You can either increase the number or remove the limit altogether.  Setting the limit to 0 allows your students to take unlimited Adaptive exams.

5.  Once you have made your adjustments, click Save at the bottom.
