When students take exams, there are several options to highlight questions for various reasons. What is visible will depend on the type of exam.
Submit Feedback: This tool lets students comment on a question's content. Their message is sent to the question's creator, whether that's the instructor or Platinum Educational Group. Students can provide feedback on both adaptive and static exams.
Note: Static or linear exams are tests assigned to the class by the instructor.
Discuss in Class: This is a flag listed in the detailed results for the instructor. When reviewing the exam question statistics, they will see every 'discuss in class' request associated with each question. This is only for static exams.
Flagging: This appears as a marker in the results of an adaptive exam. The student can see the number of flags they have in a module and topic. This helps identify areas where the student is struggling and may need further review. This feature is only available for adaptive exams.
- Note: Flagging a question in adaptive exams will not flag that question for later review or show the question in the results after taking the exam.
