There are a few reasons why a batch of labs or opportunities could not be edited or located.
The Batch is no longer Active:
If a batch of labs or opportunities has reached its end date, you will not see it in the Current tab for the batches.
Note: Batches cannot be extended. To continue that schedule beyond its set end date, you will have to create a new batch.
Single Lab/Opportunity:
If the lab or opportunity was created as an individual event, it will not appear under Batch Edit. However, to make changes, they can be edited under either Manage Labs or Manage Opportunities.
Permissions:
When an administrator creates instructor accounts, they have the option to control the permissions of what that instructor can do. If editing labs or opportunities was removed from the instructor's permissions, then edit will not appear under Manage Labs/Opportunities, and you will only see Details.
Labs:
Opportunities:
Solution:
- Reach out to someone with the ability to edit the shifts and ask them to edit them for you.
- Reach out to a user with a School Administrator role and ask them to edit the shifts for you or adjust your permissions.
Labs: Not added to the class:
If you do not see the labs you would like to edit, it could be that you are not added to the lab class as an instructor.
- Checking your classes:
- Click Classes/Students in the red toolbar.
- Select Manage My Classes.
- If you do not see the class listed under the Current tab, you will likely not be added to the class as an instructor.
Solution:
- If you have an admin role or are a course admin, edit the class through your Admin role and add yourself as an instructor to the class. Click here to see more about adding instructors to existing classes.
- If you do not have access to the course as an admin, contact someone within your school with an admin role and ask them to add you to the class.
Opportunities: A Different Instructor Made the Batch:
If another instructor creates a batch of opportunities and did not add you as an instructor to the batch, you will not be able to view or edit the batch.
Solution:
- If you have an Admin role, you can login as that instructor and either make the changes or add yourself to the batch so the batch will appear in your account.
- Reach out to the instructor that created them and have them make the changes or add you to the batch.
