In Platinum Planner, EMSTesting, and Platinum Tests, users cannot transfer a student from one cohort to another. If a student is accepted into the wrong cohort and their enrollment fee is paid, the program would still expect them to pay another enrollment fee for the correct cohort. The program has no way of knowing that the student is not supposed to be in both cohorts.
If a student has been accepted into the wrong cohort, you will need to contact the Platinum Educational Group Customer Support Team and request that the student be transferred to the correct cohort. Only Administrators and instructors can request student transfers. Platinum will not transfer a student at the request of a student.
To avoid this issue occurring, it is a good policy to make sure the student belongs to the cohort they have signed up for before accepting their enrollment request. Declining a student's enrollment request will not delete their account. It will send them an email letting them know that their cohort enrollment request has been rejected, and the student can then sign up for the correct cohort. You are also able to add a personalized message to the student when you reject their request.
