After a cohort has been set up in Platinum Planner, a good resource to help check over the skill numbers set in the Skill Requirements is the button Audit Skills. This button allows you to locate potential discrepancies between your cohorts and classes and lets you know if you might need to adjust skills in your cohort or class skill requirements.
Auditing Skills:
1. To access the Audit Skills button, you will first need to edit your cohort. As a School or a Cohort Admin, select Manage Cohorts from your my.platinumed.com dashboard, and then click edit next to the name of the cohort you would like to check.
2. Click the Platinum Planner tab, then select the Skill Requirements tab. On the far right of the page, you should see the Audit Skills button.
3. Select Audit Skills. This will cause the system to check the classes' skill requirements against the cohort's skill requirements to ensure that the class minimums meet the cohort minimums. It will let you know of potential issues. See below for a description of each issue.
Issues:
The info on each skill will tell you what the issue is. The problem will either be noted by a red caution triangle or red lettering. In addition to the discrepancy noticed, the Average skill requirement seen for this skill in that program will also be listed.

a. Skill was added to the cohort but not the class.

b. Skill has a higher requirement in the cohort than what is set in the class(es).
4. Fix the issue(s) if needed.
- Clicking the red class name or numbers will take you straight to the class to edit the class skill requirements.
- If you need to add a skill to a class, you will click the Classes tab and then edit the class to which you want to add the skills. Change the display toggle to Show All to see both your active and inactive skills.
