(Instructor) What Do The Asterisks Mean in My Gradebook?

Sarah Smith -

When you are viewing your "Class Grade Book" an asterisk next to a student's score can indicate two things.

A red asterisk indicates that that grade was manually entered or altered by you or another instructor in the class.

So that grade may have been an assignment that was completed outside of EMSTesting or Platinum Tests but was added to the "Grade Book" so it was included in the calculation of your student's overall grade, or the test was administered online, after which the student's grade was adjusted.

An orange asterisk indicates that the student was given a retest on that assignment. The grade that appears in the grade book will be the most recent attempt for that assignment.
